This week the cue word is:
So ready to see some blossoms around here. The snow is steadily melting and you can see the grass. However, spring thaw where I live can be quite ugly. During the winter they put so much salt down on the roads. So when the snow melts what is underneath is dirty and yucky. That yuck makes me happy though--winter is leaving and spring is coming!
For my card today I have a springtime blossom--a poppy. I was trying to find the perfect shade for a poppy, I used a combination of Stampin' Up Tangerine Tango and Calypso Coral. The Calypso Coral is more the colour I was looking for but I wanted two use the detail layer of my Altenew Painted Poppy stamp.

This Poppy makes me happy, Tracey! Beautifully colored, and placed. I would love a whole field of them!
