CCC #133

IMG_7482

Happy Tuesday and time for another Cue Word at CASology!
This week our our cue word is:

...how fitting!

Simple design and to the point. The hardest part of this card was the gold thread. It as almost comical how long it took me to get it somewhat where I wanted it. The thread is so light that I couldn't control it and yet it had enough of it's own shape to not twist where I asked it to. The scribble string look (that isn't from a die) might not be in my repertoire.

I am also submitting this it to Addicted to CAS Hugs & Kisses challenge...

...and I am submitting to Simon Says Monday Challenge, Red + Pink!

  10. This is gorgeous. Love the pink with silver. Good to know how fiddly that thread is, because it looks like it would be challenging. But, you nailed it.

  14. Hi Tracey,

I think your card is FAB and I could totally see this being re-created along the lines of a western themed card.

    Happy Carding!

  26. Gosh Darnell, I mean Tracey, I had to use the "jump to comment form" to get down here, lol! Am working on catching up, and didn't want to let this amazing and beautiful card go by before I had the chance to tell you how wonderful it is. Do keep working with the string, as this sweet added touch is perfect on your card. LOVE this!!! Oh, and having worked with sutures, cut a section, and then grab it at each end. Give a gentle tug to put some tension on it, and it should 'straighten' out a bit.
