CASology Design Team Feature!

I am so excited to share with you today that I am being featured on the CASology blog today as part of our 100th challenge celebrations!

If you are a follower or a regular player at CASology OR like CAS designs then you will want to head over there to see how you can win a chance to be our guest designer for the entire month of July!

I am so lucky that I have been on the Design Team at CASology since the very beginning.
Melissa Chipperfield of Oh Smudge is the founder and truly a mastermind of CAS design and such a lovely person to work with. I just can't say enough good things about her.

Now for a second chance to win!

In honour of our 100th challenge I am personally offering up some blog candy. In honour of summertime, which is only days away, I have the brand new Sunbeams stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays to give away.

To enter the blog candy contest you need to visit CASology and read my feature and then add a comment telling Melissa what CAS design feels like to me. Then come back here and comment letting me know that you did by telling me what you personally love OR intrigues you about CAS design.

You have 24 hours comment on my post   My blog candy contest closes at 10:59 am EDT on June 17th!

  1. Reading your comments really resonated with me, especially the bit about lots of layers. CAS has made me realise that you don't have to go overboard to get a good result. So sorry to hear about your MS, hope the physio works. :)

  3. Hi Tracey, it has been so nice reading a little about you and I loved hearing your feelings on CAS design. I think that I must like the visual impact upon first glance at a well constructed and executed CAS card. I am still not there in my creations...but love all of the weekly inspiration I see on the CASology challenge blog. Thanks for all that you do!

  4. Congratulations Tracey, just left a comment on CASology. Took me a while to come to grips with CAS design, it is hard to do a great CAS card as you cannot cover mistakes easily. I love it as it can be done rather quickly.

  5. Thank you Tracey for sharing your "comfort" style of cardmaking. This is the point I spoke of to Melissa. I am slowly finding my place and think I am there. You continue to inspire me.

  8. I'm finding myself more and more drawn to CAS cards. Not sure why, but maybe it's to balance the clutter in my head and my house LOL. Thanks for a chance to win that wonderful and versatile stamp set. I left a comment on the CASology blog.

  9. So happy to get to know you better Tracey ... I can't believe how much you do. Amazing. I like CAS designs for the space it gives me to breathe. I like techniques too, so I don't always "do" CAS properly, but I'm working on it!

  12. CAS does appeal to me because of the open space and how the sentiment and maybe one image tends to be the focal point!!

  15. Hi Tracey,
I really enjoyed learning more about you on your post...Thanks so much for sharing it with us!

I left a comment for Melissa, and want you to know that what I love about CAS design is that it's 'uncluttered'! I think a well designed card is one with few elements and lots of beautiful white space!

Thank you so much for a chance to win some blog candy...I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers, as well.

  19. I adore your style, Tracey. You have been an inspiration to me since I started blogging and I am always drawn to your CAS designs, I can spot a Tracey creation so easily in a gallery. One or very few layers, crisp rectangles (I so need some Lil' Inkers dies! ), bright and beautiful no fuss stamping, gorgeous amount of white space...all these things create a perfect CAS design. Your blog header design also sums you up! It's great to hear more about you and I hope the physio gives you some comfort. Hugs x

  24. Just commented on the CASology blog.I love CAS designs because they usually can say so much with very little. The effort though to make as CAS is much harder than it seems. Balance is key. Thanks for the chance to win a fabulous stamp set!

  25. Its nice to know a little about you Tracey, I enter my cards at many of your challenges, and love to read your comments , which you leave on my posts....I think I can truly relate to what you said about admiring other crafters but give in a touch of your on own style, I cannot do layerings at all. only admire ...best wishes xx

  26. Your comments really hit home for me. I love the designs that some people do with lots of colour, layers and embellishments. When I try to replicate that it looks like a mess. Thats why I love CAS design, its simple, not cluttered and precise. Just like I am with my life (although not always the 'precise' part....). And it certainly isn't an easy way to design as some of my most simple cards have taken me hours to work out. Just love your designs and blog and always looking forward to your next project!

  27. It was wonderful to read your comments. I am always amazed at your precise CAS designs. It takes a great deal of talent to create with everything always in just the right place. You do such a fantastic job! So glad we met through the 12 Kits!!

  28. It was a pleasure reading about you Tracy. Knowing how wonderfully you balance your life is truly inspiring. I love CAS design because of it's ability to express so much with so less. I like my surroundings to be organised, uncluttered, airy, maybe that's what reflects my inclination towards CAS style. :)

  29. Tracey, you say you feel comfortable with CAS designs. I too like a lot of clean space. Some days I don't. We just stamp everyday with what is comfortable to all each day. After all, isn't that what stamping is all about? Not just one easy way to create, but many ways to create, and styles to chose from. The sky is the limit and so is style and mostly love into each card. Blessings to you and praying for your new therapy for your MS.
I posted the same comment on CASology's page too.

  31. I LOVE CAS cards but find it so hard to pull them off. I am attracted to the white space and how little you have to put on the card to make it beautiful. You are one of the designers that can pull it off so gracefully and beautifully.

  32. I commented over at CASology, so in a nutshell: love your style, lover your cards! You're an inspiration in every way!! Hugs~c
