Pretty Pink Posh Shaker Blog Hop

Paulina Nakamura, owner of Pretty Pink  Posh, is hosting a huge Sequin Shaker Blog Hop.
There are lots of fabulous prizes to be won from some amazing sponsors.
You still have one more day to enter the hop!

I had so much fun doing my card for this, until the sequins were sticking to the inside.  I basically took the card apart and re-did it.  It still sticks a bit but most of the sequins are still shaking around.  I learned a few things to do the next time and a few things NOT to do. I think something fun like this was just what I needed to help me get out of the creative funk I have been in these past few weeks.  I used some sequins from the Sweetheart Mix for my card.  Enjoy the hop!

Sunday we went up to see where my son is doing his co-op this summer and where he is living.  He is already having a fabulous time and loving his placement. It also doesn't hurt that he is staying with his girlfriend's family this summer and that her mom is spoiling him.  We also were given a tour of a 6.5 million dollar cottage! Not kidding, my mouth is still hanging open!

  3. I'm sorry you had some sticking sequints, Tracey, but thank goodness you persevered!! This card is adorable!! Seriously, a 6.5 million dollar "cottage?" How do people a) have that kind of money and b) feel okay about spending it such a sum on a "cottage!" (I'm just jealous!!) Glad to hear you are out of your creative funkoroo! Hugs, Darnell

  18. So cute, Tracey! I wonder if there's a cure for static and sequins? Maybe rubbing a dryer sheet over the acetate and backing first?? I've had the same problems....

Good to hear that your boy is doing well! At least you don't have to worry about him too much:) With a price tag that high, is it still considered a 'cottage'? Do you have a link to it?
