Happy Friday, I didn't want the week to pass without trying the current Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Technique: Watercolor Splats. I made a panel blending Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest and Summer Sunrise and cut out three butterflies from it. The first one was technique gone badly, but I kept the other two. The first one was also the one that captured all of the colours.
Great idea, Tracey, to try this technique on a die-cut/focal point. Really pretty cards!

These are both great Tracey. I especially like the splats on the orange butterfly. I gave this technique a try and called it a fail:) I'll have to try again another time.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love both of these! I love how you were able to do the MIM technique, but on a smaller scale! So perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove both of these. I am still trying to get a moment to try this technique. Very clever to cut butterflies for your card. I'm going to remember that idea.
