MIM #161: Watercolor Splats

IMG_4445

Happy Friday, I didn't want the week to pass without trying the current Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Technique: Watercolor Splats.  I made a panel blending Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest and Summer Sunrise and cut out three butterflies from it.  The first one was technique gone badly, but I kept the other two.  The first one was also the one that captured all of the colours.

  8. A technique so not in my repertoire, but oh, how I love when others create with it. Your butterflies here are top-notch! Gorgeous colours, with eye-catching water-splats! Love these!

  9. These are both great Tracey. I especially like the splats on the orange butterfly. I gave this technique a try and called it a fail:) I'll have to try again another time.
