I do not think I have used watercolours
since I was in grade school. I own a set that I bought a few years ago, just in
case. I admire all the beautiful watercolours I am seeing in card making and
scrapbooking and in style trends...yet I resisted. I went down this road
with sequins and now I can't create a card without at least one. When my good
friend Virginia Lu started her new challenge blog Virginia's View just the other day I knew the time was
here. With this week's Papertrey Make It Monday of watercoloured backgrounds I
decided to get out my 'way too narrow' paintbrush and give it a go. I learned a
few things and I would do a few things differently next time, yes I said next
time. It was fun, if you haven’t tried
this technique out you really should--thanks Virginia for giving me the push I needed! I am also submitting this to Seize the Birthday.
