The Card Concept #3 - Use Monochromatic Pink

IMG_3704_edited-1

Ready for a brand new challenge at The Card Concept?

Have I ever told you how much I love pink? When I was in high school  I went through a phase where everything I owned was pink! I even had pink hair that my dad made me wash until it was all out!  LOL  Anyway I am so excited for this challenge and to see what everyone creates for it.  Participants will create a card based on one of the six defined styles from The Card Concept and use monochromatic pink in your design.

For my card I was really inspired by the pinks in the gorgeous inspiration photo. With Valentines right around the corner I wanted to create a card with heart. So I chose two colours of ink and stamped a subtle background to create the stage for my pink solid heart.  The camera was insisting that the heart was a bolder colour than it is.  I popped up the solid heart and added a few sequins. It is okay to pop something up on a CAS card, especially when you want it to stand out.
