Happy Friday!
It's time for the February 2014 12 Kits of Occasion's post!
Not only do we have our monthly post up for February but we have a brand new look, what doo you think?
Renee is our hostess this month bringing us a kit that is all about winter time fun! The kit was built around Crate Paper Bundled Up and lots of snowy embellishments! Here we go...
For my first card I used washi tape to decorate the wood snowman that came with the kit.
For this next card I used my Copics to create snow after I had the card done. I used T1 and randomly made dots on the background. I used this week's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for my card and slip the sketch to portrait orientation.
I am submitting this next one to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge anything goes with pearls. There are some tiny opaque pearls mixed in with the tiny silver gemstones.
All lined up on the window ledge.
All the supplies are listed on The 12 Kits of Occasions blog under the new tab Monthly Kit Supplies 2014 HERE!
These are all absolutely amazing Tracey. I especially love the snow globe...gorgeous!
ReplyDeletesoooooooooo cute! Wow, tons of eye candy!
ReplyDeleteAll your cards are fabulous. I love that washi snowman.
ReplyDeleteWish I had all of those cute cards lined up on my window sill. Well, maybe I will have some similar ones soon. Love the snow globe and especially love the whimsy of the mitten paper behind that cute little snowman. Great job of showcasing the kit. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all of these Tracey! Especially love the snow globe one! So creative!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards Tracey...I always love seeing them all lined up on your window sill, quite a lovely collection. I love what you did with the Washi Tape on the wooden snowman, you and Jessica must have been channeling one another...such a fabulous idea! Your lone tree in the snow banks is stunning, so crisp and clean and perfect!
ReplyDeleteSo...my mouth is hanging open right about now, you really made the most of Renee's kit. I have to say your snowglobe is the most creative use of those circle dies I have ever seen! I can not wait to try it in the same way! I also LOVE your washi tape snowman. I couldn't quite figure out what to do with mine and now I know EXACTLY what I want to do! Great job this month...as always!
ReplyDeleteOMG--what a fantastic collection of cards. Your creativity never ceases to amaze me, especially since I know how quickly your craft (last minute Lucy, you are). I am happy to see that you did some amazing things with supplies I still have--your washi tape snowman is probably the first one I will CASE.
ReplyDeleteTracey, I adore all of your cards! Wow! I am so thrilled to see the ways everyone used their supplies...I am SO going to CASE your brilliant ideas! LOVE them all! (I had to giggle at how similar our snpwman cards were...great minds think alike, right?) I also love the snow globe card...is it terrible for me to admit that I thought those brown pieces were a sled? :) NOW I know what to do with them! :)
ReplyDeleteYAY! You used the wooden snowman! So what do I love here - that snowflake snowglobe (I need to case that), the washi snowman (too cool!), and the clean tree with the polkadot background. Lots of pretty cards - you totally nailed this Tracey!
ReplyDeleteLove them all Tracey, but I think the second with the mittens in the background and the pink peppermint candy is my favorite!!

ReplyDeleteOMG, Tracey--you did an incredible job with Renee's kit! Love every one of these cards. The washi tape snowman is adorable--must CASE that one first. And your snow globe is amazing--such a beautiful design. I am so glad I still have my bases!
ReplyDeleteGreat set of cards. My favorite is the leafless tree in the hills of snow.
ReplyDeleteWow...they are all fabulous!
ReplyDeleteEgads, the last one took my breath away!! Love how simple and quiet it is, just like a snowy night. I love using polkadot paper for snow scenes. Also love your cute colored snowman with the vellum "snow" ... he looks great on top of the patterned paper!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are all fabulous, Tracey ... my fave's the snowflake snowglobe ... stunning! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThat polka dotted woodgrain is my fave sheet from the kit and I LOVE it with the tree! So glad I kept both ;) The Snowglobe is so dreamy, love how the different sizes of rhinestones makie you think of movement...like it's all really swirling around in there :) Adorable snowmen die cut cards. You are the queen of a good layout, so glad to see you mentioned in the PTI newsletter yesterday!
ReplyDeleteOh I just love the tree on the snowy hills with the polka dot snow falling. Great design.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Tracey I love that we both put wash tape on the wooden snowman! Great minds think alike :) Then that MFT snowman? Oh so sweet, he just makes me smile, and the card made him shine! I love that beautiful snowglobe card in white. You have such class and style and it always comes out in your cards beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI may well be tired of the snow and winter, but never will tire of your wintry creations! These are absolutely amazing; each so special with all the little extras that are part of your unique style and flair. Love them all!!
