It's the 25th and time for this month's Papertrey Ink Blog Hop!
The theme this month is a Touch of Gold!
It took a few rounds with me to pull this card together. Is is possible that embossing powder can go off? Maybe it is just poor quality but even with my embossing buddy that powder wanted to stick, like a fine power that I couldn't even brush off. Anyway I managed to put together a very CAS wedding card.
Enjoy the rest of the hop, thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeletethe elegance of putting a smaller matted cardstock on the base is one of my favorite techniques. It makes the whole card just so extra, you know? This is a beautiful elegant card. I love the burgundy. Makes me excited for fall...yes I said it.

ReplyDeleteVery elegant colour combo. I struggled with my embossing too. It was warm and humid while I was working, so thought that might have contributed to the problem.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Tracey. Love the gold on the scarlet paper. I often have a problem with EP. Sometimes it sticks eveyrwhere, other times the heat embossing gun blows it off the image...
