12 Kits of Holdiays - May and Simon Says Anything Goes

Check out this fabulous kit!

Yes it's time for the May edition of the 12 Kits of Holidays!
This month our hostess is Marybeth from Marybeth's Time for Paper.  We are taking a break from Christmas this month and her gorgeous kit was bursting with goodies to make projects that say thank you, get well and thinking of you.  I still have oodles of supplies left, possible a bit of hoarding going on here.  Of course holding back on using all of the supplies it is always a good idea. Then after we all post our projects you have some goodies left over for CASE'ing what the other's have done.

So here we go...

I fell in love with this background paper the moment I saw it,  works perfectly with the soup. Lil' Inkers stitched mats always give cads a little omph, I think that this card is my favourite!

Next up is this sweet birdie paper that I cut in a circle to fit behind the fabulous Ocean Tides frame.

This one is a little more shabby chic that my usual style, but who can resist beautiful lace!

Now this one is completely CAS, die cut frame and I trimmed the image to fit behind.

We hope that you take the time to go have a look at what the rest of the group has to inspire you.
Have a great day and we will see you next month for the 12 Kits of Holidays when Sharron is our April hostess.

I am also submitting some of these cards to the Simon Says Anythings Goes Challenge.

These are all so amazing. I think you must do all your best work under intense time pressure! Love them all, but I think the first is my favorite. The pops of red on the paper, and the red die cut elements are all perfectly placed relative to each other. Amazing.

Tracey, you just crack me up! I have to agree with Joyce and you work better under pressure because your cards are amazing, each and everyone of them. Your first card is my favorite, I love that beautiful red with the soft blue, getting this card would make me smile and I know I would feel better instantly! Fabulous card Tracey!

Awesome cards, Tracey! That paper really is perfect for the red soup images! And I love the framed bird's nest. I still have my lace and it is just made to go with that floral paper--so sweet. But my favorite is your last card. CAS perfection---I LOVE how you used the stripes for your frame!

Oh now look at you! Lots of smart ideas here that never occured to me - framing the nest in the pp - the soup on the blue and red flowered paper and the boy in the polaroid! Amazing! I never saw these coming - totally unexpected and wonderful!

Tracey, wow! I love what you've created with this kit :) My favorite is the soup card, I just love that little can and bowl :) And the sweet little boy really pops out with no color at all the way you layered him on that card!

Tracey, my favoeite is definitely the soup card! I love that you colored the spoon (not sure why I didn't think to do that!). That paper is perfect for these images! Then there's the card with that fabulous lacy trim.......completely gorgeous!!!!

CAS brilliance, Tracey! I seriously adore your soup card--the red soup can looks right at home with that paper. Love your idea to put the image in the Polaroid on the last card, too. That bit of twine is the perfect finishing touch!

So sorry I have not been by sooner! I looked that morning over coffee and then had to actually go to work, boo hiss! I love the soup card with that piece of patterned paper. The red flowers in the background "fall" just in the right places! The sweet little birdie scene is perfect framed with the die cut. Love the lacy border on the third paired with that patterned paper. I hoarded many of the things in this kit (um, lace, birdie paper) and now I have inspiration to USE them!!
