SSCB #3: Have a Heart



Sharing a card tonight for the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog!  As much as I love doing pink for Valentines I really like the look of grey and red together. This week's challenge is "Have a Heart" and the perfect opportunity to use their gorgeous Heart Scroll Die.




Cardstock:  White, Pure Poppy (Papertrey Ink)
Patterned Paper: Soft Grey Patterned Paper Pack (PTI)
Stamps: Valentines Pet Cling Set (Serendipity Stamps)
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
Dies: Heart Scroll Die (Serendipity Stamps) Mat Stck #6, XOXO Border (PTI)

  2. This heart die IS pretty Tracey! The xoxoxo border looks wonderful with it. Then of course there are those sweet polka dots ~ love the gray and red together!

  3. This is so good Tracey! Wow, the red outline on the sentiment just jumps right out at you against the grey. What a cute idea you had to put the xoxo across the heart. Honestly this is one of your best...love what you have done Tracey.

    Love the way you made it your own style Tracey. I love the gray and red too, my card for tomorrow is smokey shadow and red. Love how you have pared it with the polka dots,makes for a fun card. Thanks for playing in the Serendipity Stamps Challenge .

  15. I am so with you, sistah, gray is my new favorite design-element! Each time I made Valentines this year I reached for gray, second-guessed myself wondering if it was too cold for Valentines, and went ahead with it anyway. Love the results on your card, and that heart is super!

  19. Tracey, this is unbelievably cute! I've been gone a few days and that's not cool. When that happens, I tend to fall off my chair when I play catch-up with you ~ post after post of cards I want to make NOW!
