RS #43

We spend so much time preparing for Christmas and then it is over.
Now that the decorations are being put away we are ready to switch gears to something that isn't holiday themed.  I didn't set out to make a Valentine's card for this week's RetroSketch but it just happened.  This week's sketch is based on a card by this month's Retrosketch Headliner Brandi Hall.

Happy New Year, may 2013 be a wonderful year!

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock:  Aqua Mist, White
Patterned Paper:  Berry Sorbet Patterned Paper Pack
Stamps: 2010 Valentines Tags
Ink:  Sweet Blush
Dies: Mat Stack 4

  3. Such a sweet valentine's day card. I haven't started to put away the holiday decor, I should but it isn't as fun as putting it all out:)

  4. Hahaha, so much for a non holiday themed card! It turned out great, though :) I love the light colors you chose, and that embossed background always reminds me of legos...it makes me smile!

  6. I would have never combined sweet blush with aqua mist but it is so beautiful. What a wonderful combination and that sweet heart is just so cute. Fabulous card Tracey!

  7. So pretty. Love the soft pinks of this card. (I wish I had sweet blush ink that was pink)! Great take on the sketch. I think I am ready to think about valentines, too.
