Happy Tuesday and that means time for another challenge at the colourQ!
The countdown is on for the holidays and this week's palette has a perfect blend of colours for the winter season.
Super easy design. I gathered my supplies ahead of time, cardstock, dies, stamp, ink, Impression Plate and twine and sketch. This was the perfect opportunity for me to use my new Spellbinders ornament dies and my absolute favourite holiday sentiment. The background was embossed with Papertrey's Stripe Impression Plate after I stamped my sentiment. I notched a 1/2" down from the top on each side of the card to string the line my ornaments will hang from. Tied the twine and taped down the ornament--Done!
We hope that you come a play with us this week at the colourQ and while you are there make sure to visit the blogs of the rest of the Design Team to see their fabulous creations.
All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:
Cardstock: White, Pure Poppy, Simply Chartreuse, Aqua Mist
Stamps: Stylish Sentiments Holiday
Ink: Ripe Avocado
Dies: 2012 Heirloom Ornaments
other: red twine (The Twinery), Crop-a-Dile
