I have been loving the reindeer images in the Hero Arts set I bought at Michael's last week, the number is CL540. A great set to use with Copic markers. This reindeer is bigger than most standard tags and I really didn't think I could tackle those antlers to fussy cut. So I created a custom tag. To miter my corners evenly I cut one side, flipped the cut piece over and held it over the opposite corner where I could see exactly where I needed to cut. In creates perfect mitered corners.
Cardstock: White (Papertrey Ink)
Stamps: Reindeer (Hero Arts CL540) Santa Notes(Neat and Tangled)

Tonight after school my daughter and I baked 72 cookies for the family cookie exchange on Sunday. I tried this new recipe for Candy Cane Blossoms and I promise they were so yummy.
While we were baking my son was at a job interview for Target Canada. We don't have Target in Canada, but we are getting it after Christmas--Woo Hoo. Long story short he got the job, his first part time job!
Pretty gorgeous creation. I love this.

So glad you showed personal pictures--what a bonus. Those cookies look so festive, and Brooklyn is just adorable (the dog, too). I love your idea for the tag. You know, I just got that reindeer set, too, and I was struggling about how to use the leaping reindeer on a tag. So, thanks for showing me how. It looks great with those extra images from Neat & Tangled. Like they were made for each other.

ReplyDeleteReally lovin' all your Christmas tags, Tracey! But this one is just adorable! And those blossoms look so pretty and absolutely delish! I found a recipe for one with the pumpkin Kisses but didn't get a chance to try it this season.
ReplyDeleteHey, your reindeer sweater matches your cookies! Well I guess since they're so Christmas-y that's not too much of a coincidence, but they sure do look good together. Fun tag! And when your Target opens up, hurry on over to the office supplies section and pick up a pack of their Up! brand "decorative tape!"
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun tag! Cute deer! Yum, yum, yum to your desserts!!!
