colourQ Challenge #146

Time for another colourQ challenge.  A fabulous colour palette once again.  At first wanted to follow Arielle`s lead and make a Christmas card because I really should get started.  However, we have had record breaking heat in Southern Ontario all summer and this past week we topped 100 degrees with high humidity a few days.  We are not used to heat like that around here.  Don`t get me wrong I am not complaining, but when you are not used to that heat it slows you down and Christmas was about the last thing on my mind.  So I decided to pull out my PTI Lighten Up, which has been pretty unloved and create a card to cheer someone up.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: Kraft, White, Pure Poppy
Stamps: Lighten Up
Ink:  True Black, Simply Chartreuse, Pure Poppy, Classic Kraft
Dies:  Lighten Up, Hearts Border
Other:   foam dots

  6. I totally understand how 100-degree temps could dampen your Christmas spirit! Hey wait, don't they tell temperature in your part of the world in Celcius? So 100 for you is 212 for me! That's HOT!!!!!!! Seriously, I love these lamps. They're so versatile and perfect for the color challenge!

  10. What a perfect card. I love how you used those colors. I am going to pin this card--it is just my style, and my Lighten Up set is also under-loved.
