RS #14 - Make a Wish

I made a second card for RetroSketches this week because I just love this sketch.  It has been a busy couple of days with the billets but what a wonderful group of kids we have.  It was so amazing this morning seeing 7 kids head off to school that have grown up on the other side of the ocean from each other and yet all seem so the same.  They had their big games today field hockey first followed by rugby.  Of course the teams from Wales won both games but what fun they all had.  Yes my two kids are in there, red and black Maxwell Mustangs.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White, Simply Chartreuse, Simply Chartreuse Paper Pack
Stamps: Beautiful Butterflies, Flower Fusion #9
Ink: Berry Sorbet, Simply Chartreuse
Dies: Beautiful Butterflies

  2. This card is so pretty. I love the berry sorbet with simply chartreuse, and don't think I have ever paired those two together. Why not? Glad you had fun with your young visitors.

  5. Looks like a fabulous group of kids...and how fun to send seven off to school, can't even imagine that one. I have to agree with you, this weeks sketch is just so perfect for so many different stamp sets and your card is just so beautiful. I'm with Joyce and those colors are so perfect together and that layered butterfly, such a clever idea.

I can't believe you have any time or energy to make beautiful cards right now, but I love the simplicity of this design. Perfect use of the complementary colors to really make the butterfly pop!
