Back in my studio after the holiday weekend, laundry isn't done but it will still be there tomorrow. This week's
Dynamic Duos challenge was Black Tie with a Dessert Option featuring black and yellow with an option of adding any kind of embossing. I paired it up with
RetroSketch #12. I started out by pulling out True Black and Harvest Gold Papertrey cardstock and some Doodlebug Beetle Black patterned and specialty papers. I started off with a white card base and not sure what type of card I was going to make. When it didn't seem to work I swapped the white base for black and a graduation card was born.
All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:
Cardstock: True Black, Harvest Gold(PTI), Bettle Black Patterned papers (Doodlebug)
Stamps: Tag Its #4
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento (Tsukineko)
Dies: Notched Flowers
Embossing Folders: Swirls (Cuttlebug)
other: foam dots, Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers)
