A Scrappy Card

I am trying to challenge myself to create something with my creative 'mess' when putting it away.  On Sunday I was cleaning up my studio when I still had bits and pieces laying around from last weeks colourQ challenge.  I grabbed the white card base and quickly put together this little number.  I tend to create a lot of birthday cards because they are the most needed.  I come from a family of 5 children, parents, in-laws, siblings, spouses, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews we are now a family of 32.  Well this was the first week of my personal challenge, lets see if I can do it again next week.

All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:

Cardstock: White,  Simply Chartreuse, Bitty Dot
Stamps: Birthday Basics
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento  (Tsukineko)
Dies: Bloom Builders #1, Sending You
other: Orange Zest felt, Orange pearl

  2. How fun it seems to have a big family. I have a tiny one. You did a great job with your scraps, and this is a beautiful card. You are very generous with your felt--I am thinking this card must be going to a special someone.

  7. Very pretty, Tracey. And great idea! I have so many scraps that need to be used, in addition to all my not-so-loved supplies purchased over the last 8+ years... And I hear you on the big family. My husband has 8 siblings, and I have lost count on the extended family, but I know it's over 50, on just his side! Ack.

I love what you do with color, Tracey. You always find some classy, beautiful way to use them, and I love to see what you create. ;-) Cheers, my friend!
