Today my heart is breaking for my son as 55 of his friends from school are on there way to London for the first stop of their tour. Ben is feeling better today which makes it harder, but he is far from recovered. :(
On to the fun. I have two cards to share with you today both in this weeks beautiful spring colourQ pallete. My Make It Monday is the second card.
All Supplies are from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted:
Cardstock: White, Hawaiian Shores. Spring Moss
Stamps: Pretty Peonies, Egg Hunt, Botanical Silhouettes, Little Labels
Ink: Hawaiian Shores, Raspberry Fizz, Summer Sunrise, Spring Moss, Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
Dies: Picket Fence, Jar Labels Two
other: foam dots, woodgrain impression plate (PTI), grass punch (Fiskars), egg punch (McGill)
Love them both! The fence with the eggs...super cute.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all Tracey, I am so sorry to hear of your son Ben's illness, and the rotten timing of it all. How heartbreaking it must be for all of you. Prayers for you and Ben! Secondly, as always, love your cards and how fresh and cheery they look. Super sweet!
ReplyDeleteLove your butterfly card, Tracey, but both cards are lovely! Thanks for joining us this week at the ColourQ and sharing your cards.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous Tracey! I especially like the first - I do love a one-layer card! So sorry to hear your son has been unable to join his friends on the London trip, he must feel so disappointed.
ReplyDeleteTracey these are beautiful cards, so fresh and springlike!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that your son is ill and has to miss his tour of Europe, that must be so hard for him.
My husband had the same illness at the same age as your son, and I remember how ill he was with it, so you have made the right decision. I hope his recovery is swift, and starts to feel better soon.
Love both of these cards Tracey. The first is my favorite...it's perfect. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spring cards Tracey! They are so lively and bright.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful butterflies!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with those colors!! I love the stamped butterflies on the first card and love the fence and easter eggs on the 2nd!
ReplyDeleteTracey, both cards are very striking, and your grass along the fence with the colored eggs is adorable. So sorry to read that Ben is still under the weather and missing the London trip. Praying for his health and strength to return soon!
ReplyDeleteGlad Ben is feeling better, but I am so sorry that he did not get to go. I know the feeling of your heartache ....a mothers love! Your cards are beautiful! I love the little eggs laying near the fence, just adorable! Prayers for a quick recovery!
