After a really busy Christmas season I have been having trouble getting back into the creative groove this week. Partly because I have been so tired and partly because every time I start to create I am not feeling the love. I laboured over creating today's card that I am submitting for MIM #47 and the Color Throwdown #173. This should have been easy, pick a MIM from the last year and the Colours from Color Throwdown were easy--Valentine's Day is on the way. After changing my focal colours a few times I came up with this card which combines MIM #26: Decreasing Apertures with this weeks colours at CTD.

I feel like I've had a bit of a block in my creativity the last few days, and I'm afraid to break out all my new PTI supplies because of that. But you're making me want to get them out and get started! I really like this card. A really lovely use of the colors in the challenge. Great job. ;-)
