25 Days of Christmas Tags - Tag 10

One of the things I love about making tags is that you can make them as simple as you want or as detailed and complex as you want.  Typically you are working with a smaller canvas, one that can accommodate small images.  Today`s tag is made from an older woodblock PSX image.  I die cut my frame from a Spellbinder`s die and popped the image into the centre.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends in the U.S.  I hope that you are having a fabulous day, spending time with family and having a wonderful meal.

Did I ever mention that I can walk to Michael's from my house? I am not kidding.  I think the absolute perfect finish for my tag today would be a tiny jingle bell just at the top of the tag, however, since I have already been there today my family would likely change the lock while I was gone so I am passing on the jingle bell.  Edit:  I caved and went and got the bells, much happier now.

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Tag 6 & MIM #92

I combined today's tag with this weeks Make it Monday.  I love using non-traditional pink for the holidays.  I created my tag with Sweet Blush cardstock, then added a layer of grey chevron patterned paper from Lawn Fawn's Bright Side.  I die cut a small doily from white cardstock and topped with four layers of vellum snowflakes.  I die cut two large and two small snowflakes, ran them through my Xyron and then coated then with chunky glitter.  A pretty button and tiny tag and done.
