Lunar New Year Challenge | September 2024

 Hi there crafty friends! I super excited today to share with you that I will be the Guest Designer for the remaining of 2024 at the Lunar New Year Challenge!

The September Lunar New Year Challenge will run from September 1st - September 30th at 12:00 pm EST. There are great sponsors lined up for the month including Simon Says Stamp, Lawn Fawn, Ram Stamps and Waffle Flower Stamps. I used Lawn Fawn Year Eight stamp set for my card. Making the fortune cookie the star of the show! I stamped, die cut and coloured the two fortune cookies and the crumbs with my Copic Markers:

E57, E 30, E23 and E11

I added two mats to my card base in yellow and red. The tiny fortune is a die cut from Concord & 9th's new Door Decor die set and the word Joy is from the coordinating stamp set.

Happy New Year is from Lawn Fawn's Winter Wavy Sayings and the die is Lawn Fawn Simple Wavy Banners! The sentiment was embossed with gold embossing powder. I cut a second black banner so that I could add some dimension to the red banner and to make it stand out from the red background.
