Hi there friends! I'm introducing the new colour duo for Color Hues Color Challenge #74. Thus lovely colour combination was chosen by Design Team member Hannelie.
I'm grasping the last little bit of late summer that I can and I pulled out my favorite Crafters Companion Sunflower stencil & embossing folders duo. I first stenciled the sunflowers on white cardstcok with Catherine Pooler ink--Limoncello and Altenew Ink - Rocky Shores for the kraft. After the stenciling was done I carefully lined up he co-ordinating embossing folder and ran it through my Big Shot. It added so much dimension to the card! A sentiment was added using Waffle Flower Essentials Sentiments stamps & coordinating dies..
I trimmed the stenciled sunflower panel down and mounted it to a kraft card base.
Please head over to the Color Hues blog to see what my fabulous teammates have made for this challenge. I promise you won't be disappointed!
Great card !!!!!

I could not love this anymore, Tracey! The texture really makes it shine!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bright and sunny way to say farewell to summer, Tracey! Wonderful card!
ReplyDeleteA pretty reminder of summer Tracy. We've had 3 seasons in one week here, temps in the 20's followed by strong winds and heavy rain as well as a touch of early morning frost! My garden still has some colour but the strong winds forecast on top of everything else will see it trashed. :(
ReplyDeleteI love the dimension the embossing folder gave your lovely sunflowers, Tracey.
ReplyDeleteI adore your card Tracey!!!! The textures are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI just love seeing the matching stencils and embossing folders. What a gorgeous card, Tracey! Yes, I am loving the summery hues you chose too.I don't want the season to end!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore sunflowers Tracey and this stencil/embossing folder duo is so BEAUTIFUL!! All that dimension really makes this card POP! Lovely, lovely card my friend, and unfortunately Summer has left here in Michigan too...nothing but rain, rain, and more rain for the past week! I need me some SUNSHINE!! Hope you have a great weekend my friend!! Hugs. :0)
