It's the last day of the month and that means the 12 Kits of Occasions!
We had the such fun kit this month full of summertime, pretty papers and die cuts all thanks to 12 Kits of Occasions designer Marybeth Lopez from Marybeth's Time for Paper! I was having trouble getting over my paper hoarding obsession with this kit. I loved the papers so much I didn't want to cover them up. Do you have that problem?
Okay so on with what you are here for today. I was able to make four fun, summery cards with Marybeth's kit.
I started off with a shaker card using this beautiful delicate die cut window...
This one was a natural...
Love these beautiful blooms for Concord & 9th...
Ice cream and watermelon--two summer favourites!

ReplyDeleteSweet collection of cards Tracey.
ReplyDeleteOh Tracey...I love all 4 of your cards! They definitely all say SUMMER and I totally hear you about wanting to hoard all the DSP and not cover it up...I struggled too!! But anyway, FABULOUS cards!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful summer cards, Tracey! I love that shaker within the diecut frame! You always show me how to use the design papers to the fullest on your cards! Each paper choice is perfect with the focal images! I love each one!
ReplyDeleteGosh, what a lovely collection of summery cards, Tracey ... they're all so fun! I'm particularly drawn to the shaker with those delicate poppies, it's just delicious! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE your use of these patterned papers. Your cards are so whimsical!!
ReplyDeleteHi again Tracey! I love the way you paired all the papers with the dies! Loving the watermelon background with the snowcones, each design so fresh and clean! I never would have thought to pair the flamingo background with the large bloom and I absolutely LOVE it sooo pretty! The shaker is so pretty too!
ReplyDeleteNice to talk with you for a bit yesteryear and hear your voice.
Yes...I have the "paper hoarding and not wanting to cover all the pretty paper" problem too LOL!! Seriously though, I love the way you used all of the summery papers Tracey. The ice cream cones with the watermelon background is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteFour fabulous and fun cards! Love your yummy snow cones with the watermelon paper and your sweet shaker is so beautiful. Your flamingos paired with the gorgeous flowers is just perfect! You are so clever to use the ice cream truck paper with the ice cream bar....amazing! Love them all.
ReplyDeleteYou totally rocked the pattern paper! Sometimes that is so hard.. so much going on.. but you broke everything up with solids perfectly. I love the floral with the flamingo background and I can never resist a shaker! I had such a hard time with the little snow cones.. you made it look easy!
ReplyDeleteI totally hear you about the paper hoarding Tracey, I'm right in that same boat with you! I adore your sweet shaker card and I wish I still had my flower frame to do that with. You chose the perfect background papers for each of you sweet cards! I love the simple design of ice cream truck paper paired with the popcicle. The perfect pair!! (sending you hugs my friend)
