Happy Summer,
Excited to be participating in MFT Stamps Camp Create 2019!
I am now 6 week post-op and I am back in my craft room again!
I am feeling good and relatively pain free for the first time in two years. It is going to be some time before I have full range of motion again and I am still on orders to take it easy--no stretching, trying not to use my right arm and NO lifting! Every day is better and I should be starting physio in another week.
I was so inspired by Stephanie's video using the Daniel Smith Color Burst powders that I decided it was time for me to break open a set I have had a long time. One thing had forgotten about the powders is how highly pigmented they are--a little goes a long long way! So I created a rainbow on Watercolour paper and it was beautiful but if you know me it was a big too bold! So once it was dry I selectively stamped a bunch of fishes from the BB Gill Friends on to my warcoloured panel to create my tropical fish which I fussy cut. I used Distress Oxide inks to create an ocean background then I created the sand bottom using the clothes line die from the Bundle of Baby Clothes die-namics! Finally the fish were added to create the scene! Great masculine birthday card or great for little kids too!
This is darling!! I love the blending that you did on this!!
