It's the last day of May and time for this month's 12 Kit of Occasions post! Birgit from Crafting While I Wait was is our hostess this month and what a fabulous summer fun filled kit she sent to each of us! This is the first time I have created since I had my surgery. One of the great things about the 12 Kits it that when we each receive our packages most of the stamping and cutting is already done. So with the help of my lovely daughter for some of the muscle work I was able to put four cards together to post today!
All of my cards together!
Don't forget to pop over the the team blog The 12 Kits of Occasions to see what the rest of the fabulous team has done and follow the hop to be inspired!
So fun, love the tropical theme!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards from this kit. Especially love the beach gal in black and white against all that color.
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous summertime cards Tracey! I love the watermelon and the polka dot flip flops!
ReplyDeleteHi Tracey, I'm so happy to see you're on the mend and feeling up to creating again. Your daughter is a real treasure for helping you during your healing process and each of your cards are so darling!! I just love the way you've layered each of your cards on those fabulous background papers. The flamingo paper was my favorite and I love how you paired it with the tropical leaves and hibiscus flowers. Totally gorgeous my friend! The flip flop card just makes me smile with all those delightfull summer images and the sentiment that you used. This card certainly brings its own sunshine. Awesome, awesome cards Tracey! I hope you have a wonderful summer and find time for lots of relaxing and healing.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! LOVING the flamingos!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo fun and sweet, Tracey!
ReplyDeleteFour FABULOUS Summertime cards Tracey!! Love, LOVE the paper you paired with the watermelon slices...absolutely perfect together!! And I totally fell in love with your beach baby card too and how you left her plain and let the die cut sentiment and the DSP carry all the color!! And of course your flip flops and flamingo cards are super cute too! Your daughter did a great job helping you out too! I always hoped one of my 3 daughters would have loved papercrafting like I do, but no such luck! I'm hoping my granddaughter Addy will step up to the plate when she's a bit older!! Take care of yourself and hope you are healing well my friend! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteSo great to see your bright, summery cards, Tracey! I love how you paired the patterns with the die cuts and stamped images. I hope the recovery is still going well and you're getting back your strength and range. Here's to a summer as warm and bright as your cards!
ReplyDeleteWow, Tracey, these are all so gorgeous! Birgit sent so many wonderful die cuts to go with those awesome papers. Love that you were able to get these four beauties done. And it's wonderful to have a sweet daughter to help when needed. The flamingo paper is so pretty and perfect with the fun red border. And I love how the watermelon slices pick up the pink in that cool paper. I'm glad you are feeling better and hope you get back to normal quickly. Have a wonderful summer!!

ReplyDeleteSorry for the late visit, Tracey. I have been partying for days it seems and finally things are quieting down. Good thing, since I'm officially old now, lol! But enough about me. I am so pleased to see you are well enough to be in your craft room making cards again and doing so with Brooklyn's help makes it even better! (Happy Belated Birthday to her!) I'm sure it was a blast for both of you! I love each of your sunny summery makes and I love the card you made for her, too, which I saw over on FB!! Hugs, Darnell
