Here we are with my first Girl Friday post!

As I type this email I still can't believe that Michelle contacted me and invited me to the team.  I am so excited and really looking forward to inspiring you to try our new monthly challenges.

You are going to love the new format with more playing time, more prizes and more recognition! For a full outline of the new format click HERE.

Use at least 2 shades of gray

The winner gets a fun-filled guest spot on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog, and a prize from our Super Sponsor:

Now before you start searching frantically for a stamp with handcuffs on it (LOL), keep in mind that your Clean & Simple card will need to use at least two different shades of gray. How you interpret it is up to you and have fun! I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Here is my take on this month's challenge using Sands of Time.

Here is a list of all of the new CAS-ual Fridays Girl Fridays, be sure to drop in and see their fabulous inspiration!

You have until March 21st to enter this challenge as many time as you would like.

The 12 Kits of Occasions - February '14

Happy Friday!

It's time for the February 2014 12 Kits of Occasion's post!
Not only do we have our monthly post up for February but we have a brand new look, what doo you think?

Renee is our hostess this month bringing us a kit that is all about winter time fun! The kit was built around Crate Paper Bundled Up and lots of snowy embellishments!  Here we go...

For my first card I used washi tape to decorate the wood snowman that came with the kit.

For this next card I used my Copics to create snow after I had the card done. I used T1 and randomly made dots on the background.  I used this week's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for my card and slip the sketch to portrait orientation.

I am submitting this next one to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge anything goes with pearls. There are some tiny opaque pearls mixed in with the tiny silver gemstones.

All lined up on the window ledge.

Pop on over to The 12 Kits of Occasions blog so that you can go around and see what the rest of the team has done with this kit!

All the supplies are listed on The 12 Kits of Occasions blog under the new tab Monthly Kit Supplies 2014 HERE!

CASE Study Challenge #179

Squeaking in at the last minute with a card for CASE Study Challenge.  I love Danielle Flanders, this month's Muse, and I knew I had to make a card as soon as I saw her inspiration card.  I almost missed out because I forgot to take a photo when I made this card earlier in the week.

Here is her inspiration card...

and here is my version...

Can't tell you how proud I am to be a Canadian. So proud of our Canadian athletes for their hard work, determination and performance at the Sochi Olympics but most importantly their incredible sportsmanship.

This one is for you--Boo-Yah!

I am also submitting this to CAS(E) this Sketch #65

colourQ #230

Happy Tuesday and time for this week's new palette at the colourQ!

Had some fun playing with these Heidi Swapp chat bubble stamps I picked up at Michael's. Sweet deal, the set has 6 chat bubbles and comes with an matching chat bubble die!  I created my sentiment and then added some My Minds Eye Wicked enamel dots and adhered the panel to a kraft base embossed with woodgrain.

Drop in to the colourQ today to see what the rest of the team has for your inspiration.  We hope you come and play with us this week.
