Today I have another group of talented ladies guest designing with me, a big welcome to the extremely talented Ink Squad ladies at CAS-ual Fridays and also joining us today is former Girl Friday Mayuri! How fun is it to have so much talent jammed under one roof!
Of course wanted to use CAS-ual Fridays stamps today. I used Snowflake Splendor which is new this year for my tag. I did some emboss resist using a few non-traditional colours of Distress Inks. I usually do not like messy crafty , but sometimes it just feels good to get inky!
I am submitting my tag to Addicted to CAS #51
For your chance to win one of the prizes today leave me a comment telling me if you like getting inky too.
Thank you so much to the Girl Fridays for joining me today as my guests.
Don't forget to hop over to each of their blogs for another chance to win!
The fun keeps going through the weekend so pop back tomorrow for Day 6!
Love all the inspiration and your inking is beautiful Tracey.

ReplyDeleteWow, these aren't tags ... these are all works of art! Fabulous designs from amazing creators. I'm not a huge fan of a mess, but sometimes the final result ("sometimes", that's the key LOL) is worth getting inky for :-)
ReplyDeleteWOW! Gorgeous line up of tags today! Love them all!
ReplyDeleteOf course I like getting inky :) Fun tags, great to see some mini tags in the bunch too.

ReplyDeleteI'm loving all the inspiration. So many beautiful tags. The snowflake tree is wonderful. My wish list just keeps growing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great group of projects! Love the texture from the burlap on Kelly's tag. I really like getting inky and find it kind of therapeutic so I don't mind the mess it leaves on my hands.

ReplyDeleteGlad you got inky Tracey because it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is like 'Tag Heaven'! Everyone's tags are so pretty, and I really love yours, Tracey! I love the shape of the tag and how you played with the snowflakes to create your tree! Using non-traditional colors was such a clever idea too, and it really makes the snowflakes pop!
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying this series :)
Yes I like getting inky--it is fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of inky goodness but have not really jumped in on it yet. I don't mind getting my hands inky....it actually looks like a lot of fun. Your tag today is stunning
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty colors and the snowflake Christmas tree for your sweet tag!
ReplyDeleteLoving the tags and especially the Snowflake Splendour stamps.
ReplyDeleteAll of the tags are fantastic, the girls did a brilliant job. And really love your tag, those colours are so pretty together. To be honest, I get inky whether I like it or not. I'm a clumsy stamper and tend to ruin a lot of cards because I get it everywhere by accident. Frustrating but doesn't stop me from stamping!!!
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS tags!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE all the different styles and designs - SO MUCH to INSPIRE!!!
I love to get inky but have to confess that I only have 2 distress inks so far and I have such a lot to learn about inks, stamping, blending and heat embossing too - it is a FUN ADVENTURE :)
Tracey, your tag series is like winning a tag-lottery, full of rich ideas and incredible, innovative inspiration. I had no idea that tags would be such amazing works of art! Today's series: stunning! Your tag: only jaw-dropping, awe inspiring. I soooo want to know where your tag die came from, as it's ultra beautiful! Getting inky: oh yeah! I usually end up with a bunch of messes in the process, but when I land on 'well inked inkiness' you're sure to hear the echoes of my cheering!
ReplyDeleteHugs~c
I'm always stamping and trying new techniques. I end up with as much ink on my fingers as I do the paper. It's so much fun.
ReplyDeleteLove the bell tag. Have to try that one.
thanks for sharing.
Such a variety of amazing tags from the CF girls! Your Christmas tree is just beautiful ... love the look of the white embossing against the yummy sponged DI colours! Me ... getting inky ... yep, in a minimalist, neat and tidy sort of a way! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes I LOVE getting inky. Your tag is BEAUTIFUL. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSweet tags everyone.
Crafty hugs,

Great inspiration here and your tag is such a great use of the snowflake dies and so pleased you added to ATCAS x
ReplyDeleteLots of inspiration here! I really love Kelly's burlap bell!
ReplyDeleteNot sure which part is prettier: the soft jewel tones of colour, the dainty white-embossed "tree" or the delicate outline of the tag. I love getting inky--the dirtier my fingers are at the end of my session, the more satisfied I usually am with the results.
ReplyDeleteWonderful inspiration today, from you and your CAS Friday friends. What a fun series this is already. And, yes, I do like to get inky! I prefer if the ink can stay on the paper, but often find it on my fingers too.
ReplyDeleteI love getting inky, but my 6 year old loves it better, I let her do most of the inking and distressing, she loves helping. Great group of tags today!!
ReplyDeleteLove the colours on your tag...i have just started using distresses inks more and I'm really liking it!

If I come away from my craft table without ink stains on my hands, something has gone wrong! I love using distress inks & stains as well as water color to create my backgrounds. I rarely use colored card stock any more.
ReplyDeleteso lovely--love all the different styles!
ReplyDeleteLove your background and the white embossing!
